A clear view of your performance
SwimAR is a holographic heads up display for swimmers that attaches to a regular pair of goggles
WHAT IS IT?
SwimAR (pronounced Swim A R), is a cutting edge training device for swimmers, developed in London by a team of product designers and creative engineers, for swimmers wanting to see their swim data without needing to pause training.
It's a lightweight, hydrodynamic module and attaches securely to regular goggles with flexible straps so it can be used with multiple google styles.
Through a holographic heads up display, built into SwimAR, you have constant access to your data as and when you want to see it. Pre-swim you determine your training set, the information you want in view and when you swim, SwimAR will project your data and progress, into your line of sight, leaving you with a clear head, to focus on your form and smash through to new personal bests.

WHO'S IT FOR?
If you are in the pool on average 2-6 times a week and train throughout the year, often covering 50km a month in-season, then we have designed this with you in mind.
SwimAR is for serious amateurs, triathletes and competitive swimmers looking to maximise every minute of their training in pools and open water, wanting to improve form and shave seconds off times.
It is a tool for coaches looking to support and stretch swimmers covering long distances and working on multiple repetitive sets.
We noticed that real time performance feedback was missing from swim training and designed SwimAR to keep swimmers connected to time and progress, whilst still on the move.
WHO'S BEHIND IT?
The directors Julian, Mark, Clare and Roger are the designers and engineers behind SwimAR, based in their West London Studio, where all the design and business activity takes place. They have worked in collaboration with many people from the swimming and triathlete communities around the world to shape the design and content of SwimAR.
WHY IS IT SO GROUNDBREAKING?
There is currently nothing like SwimAR on the market that enables a swimmer to see their performance data in real-time. Triathletes have access to live data for running and cycling, but in the pool the technology lags behind and generally fails in the following ways:
- Swimmers have to stop training to read the clock or their watch
- Current HUD devices in development result in eye strain (the data display or flashing light indicator positioned millimetres away from the eye)
- Integrated HUDs only fit limited face shapes
